Anyway, I was out this morning getting the Sunday paper (*cough*...twelve-pack...*cough*) when I saw a magazine on the stand entitled CPU - Computer Power Users. It had columns written by Anand, Sharkey whatshisface, and Kyle Bennet. $7 USD !!!

Now why TF would I spend $7 on a magazine with the same crap I get on the web for free? Any thoughts?

$7 my ass, that is just ridiculous... They should pay me $7 per article if they want me to read them.

I didn't even open the magazine. It just said on the cover that it had columns written by those people.

Here:

I did a quick google search. I think you can make out the first three columnist names.

Edit: Ack!!! No HTML? Well then, resize yourself...

Wow! That's quite interesting to say the least... I really do wonder if they know their articles are in that.

Never heard of CPU here in Canada myself, is that a new magazine down there in the US?
I have no idea. Just because I found it on the shelf does not mean it's the next National Geographic. I've never heard of it before, and we have a lot of very obscure magazines in the US. Maybe somebody else has more input.

Well, I looked them up, it does look legit... Unfortunately this magazine is not sold here in Canada... =(

Still, I thought they would have a better web site!

Haha... Yeah that link was hilarious eh? Geez, with all that "writing talent" I'd expect them to draw enough of an audience to have a better site! =)
Oh btw CHE, I found that magzine in a local coffee shop here in Toronto...

It is legit. However the magzine is rather bland, the info is quite old! =(
