Unlock a greeny 1600+

I have a green 1600+ and I can't seem to unlock it. I have connected the L1 bridges, and i still can't do anything about the multiplier. Do I need to do the same thing as the 2100+ unlocking process? Is there an easier way to do it?

Hey there! <BR><BR>Hmm... What are you using as filler? Have you cleaned off the L1 bridge contacts well? We had similar problems before when the Poly Instafil would set on the contacts... Do you have a pic on how your unlock looks like cuz for XP's 2000+ or lower all you have to do is connect the L1's...<BR><BR>

I don't have a pic of what it looks like. I used a super glue to fill in the pits, and used the rear window defogger kit to connect the bridges. Should I try again?

How did you clean off the glue? It sounds like the set on top of the copper contacts. What I would do is scratch it off wiht perhaps a needle.<BR><BR>After, paint over it again with the conductive paint and you should be ok! =)<BR><BR>Make sure you keep us updated on how it goes!

u can try nail polish remover. most super glue are based on the same active ingredient as nail polish. if that doesn't work, u can try some industrial-strenght paint stripper. just don't get any on ur skin, it stings like hell 8-). use a sharpened toothpick to wedge out some of the softened glue out the laser pits.<BR><BR>bravo_3 out<BR><BR>
