Ok, I was a big fan of Elder Scrolls 2 -Daggerfall, even though it was hopelessly broken. Now this game is making me upgrade my videocard... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0>

I can't really put it into words except to say: um... It's pretty.

Pretty amazing graphics...
pretty damn slow on my 1gig Athlon with geforce mx, even at *choke* 640 by 480.

The same great open ended gameplay as the other games in the series. Go anywhere, do practically anything... Plus it does not feel as random and poorly put together as Daggerfall. For one thing, all the various cities and towns now have unique appearances instead of being full of generic buildings.

For any RPG fans out there, I would not hesitate to recommend this... Falls somewhere in between Diablo style RPGs and fully scripted ones like Baldur's Gate etc. It has got me absorbed like no game since, um, Elder Scrolls 2...
Just make sure you have the system to handle it.

Mike D.

Yep,

Me happily chugging along at 640*480, probably 20 or so fps outside... smooth when inside buildings...

Neeeed new vid-card...

On the other hand the game still has me spellbound... Buy it!
(as long as you have 1gig+ and GF2 or better <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif"border=0> )
