KT400 chipset

When do we expect to see them?

From what I've heard the KT400 should be out sometime in late summer... Of course the date changes all the time, but that's what I'm expecting anyway.<BR><BR>I sure hope the KT400 does more for the Athlon then the KT333 did.

they can keep bumpin up the chipset speed all they want...until amd gets a cpu that will run 166 or 200 there will be no major performace upgrade...<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

That's true the Athlon will not recieve much performance boost from the extra bandwidth however the KT400 is based on a whole new chipset architecture and it'll probably be quite a bit more powerful then any exsisting chipset. Not just that it'll probably be more efficient in handling things as well.
