I have an old Flexus MB model 586F1. Flexus is no longer exist and Freetech does not have any info regarding the VRM module. I wonder anybody might know how I can get info on the VRM so I can set the proper voltage on Vcore. I manual only mention plug in the VRM module without given any info say which is input pin, output pin, and etc so I cannot emulate the VRM module.

What kind of motherboard is it? From teh model number I'm assuming it's Pentium class...

Have you tried contacting Freetech?

Are you sure you got the model number correct? I found info on a lot of Flexus MB's, but couldn't find 586F1...

This is the socket 7 Pentium class of MB. The VRM module is used to set for different Vcore voltage. Like if you want Cryix or AMD chip, you need to get either a proper VRM module or the one with adjustable. I think it looks similar to some of the adpter socket maker on market. They sell you the complete solution. While Flexus use so call VRM technology to solve the Vcore problem. I presume that this VRM module must have some jumpers for various voltage. What I want to find out the pin out of this module so I can make a special adapter plug with my own on board regulator. If too difficult to do, then I would give up and switch to Tbred maybe. I have contact Freetech and they don't want to support Flexus product any more. They are in P4 and Athlon XP.
