There is too a need to pay for video games. When you find a game that you enjoy and you feel satisfied, then you go out and buy it in order to support that company. If no one bought games then those wonderful companies woudlnt have funding. Its a thin line however.. a lot of companies put out crappy games with good graphics hoping to suck our money on promises that the game is entertaining and fun. Thats why i always "preview" a game for myself.. and if i like it, i buy it simply to support the company... well ok sometimes im just broke.. but i try my hardest to help the guys out and give em something for their hard work. Like warcraft 3.. ive been playing it for a week.. when it comes out or i think it already is today or soemthing.. ill go out and pick up a copy to support blizzard. Same with neverwinter nights.. its a good game. But then again games like freedom force?? it looked cool.. but the game was kind of boring. Im not gonna waist my money on that! Its cool to download games, but i think if you really enjoyed it you should give back for being given the opportunity to experience a well made game.<BR><BR>Just my 2 cents.

I havent had a chance to come talk to you guys in a while due to this game. I suggest you all get it, but dont skip class every day and call in sick to work to play it... man my eyes hurt.

I agree with your "preview" games idea.... perhaps I was a bit hasty when I said there is NO need. <BR><BR>Companies like Blizzard do need support, and if I ever get enough money I might go buy a legal copy of WarIII.<BR><BR>But this is my only bending point is for games.... things like OS's should be freely copied and distributed among your friends. They make enough money in corporate sales, unlike video game companies. Same goes for most apps.<BR><BR>
