Over the years ive built more than 50 computers i used to do msi, abit, tyan, asus, intel. And the only boards that i have never had problems with were the Asus boards, they are rock solid and they give the best performance than most of the boards out there.
I like Asus as well, they make good boards but I find they die easy... Not mine per say, but in general ppl I know with Asus mainboards have problems a year or 2 l8r down the road. Also their RMA sucks, my old P2-99 took 4 months to come back!

I think the most stable system's I've ever built use INtel boards... SLow but damn stable. For speed I like Abit and Epox.

I have always been pleased with the asusboards. Also the reason it takes so long to RMA one is b/c they just aren't used to doind that
Just kidding, I've never had to return one. I even had a CUSL2-C pour smoke out of the case and it still works today!
