Asus A7V-333 motherboard

If you want to buy the Asus A7V-333 motherboard retail, don't buy it at www.cbwnet.com. They say that it has firewire, but it doesn't unless you buy the retail version (they don't have the retail version). Also, this motherboard reads CPU temp. too high. I highly recommend a Giga-byte GA-7VRXP motherboard. They have RAID and LAN for $15 less than the Asus A7V-333 motherboard.

THey advertise the A7V333 OEM with firewire yet they don't have it? You can complain about them to othe BBB. The A7V333 reads the temps directly from teh internal diode in the CPU so that may be the reason the temp readings are higher.<BR><BR>Never used the Gigabyte board myself so I don't have an opinion on that one.
