Hmm... I would say probably the original Radeon 32 MB DDR. It's difficult to say. Why?

Cause I have that card and was wondering what ATI card is close in specs too it. What about the radeon 7000 64 mb? What geforce does it compair too?
Radeon 7000 is actually slower. The 7000 is based on the Radeon VE (no Hardware T&L). If you're buying though get something better like the 8500.

Yeah I just want something a little faster then my Geforce 2 mx 400. I cant really afford that Radeon 8500. What about the Radeon 7500? What geforce does it compair to?
The Radeon 7500 is more comparable a GeForce2 Ti. It'll be quite a bit faster then what you're using right now but you really shouldn't buy a non DX8 card now. It'll get outdated very quickly. If you're strapped for cash, save up more. You'll thank yourself l8r!

Well.... I'll think about it. It probly depends on hwo much cash my parents give me for grading So is the Radeon 7500 Dx 7 compatible? New question! Are differnt brands of Ram compatible? I have 128 sdram right now. Want 256 sdram... And then I could get the Radeon 7500, and that 40 gig maxter drive, and my dad said hed get me a new tv tuner... and mayby a cd burner... yeah! I don't think Ineed the 8500 now.... I'll upgrade to a 8500 128 megs later.... I think.
Well I hope you did well in your school then!

<< So is the Radeon 7500 Dx 7 compatible? >>

Yes. the Radeon 7500 is a DX7 compatible.

Memory in general are compatible with each other unless you get the really cheap stuff. Remember, you get what you pay for. If you get some name brand memory I think it will work in your system fine.

In your sig whats PC2700 DDR333 mean? I know that DDR is like medium speed ram, but whats the other stuff mean?

PC2700 refers to the maximum theoretical bandwidth. (2.7GB/s) DDR333 is the effective data rate, given that it's 166Mhz x2. They use that number now because bigger numbers look better. That was the marketing "return fire" to Rambus rating their memory by the data rate rather than the clock speed.

DDR doesn't mean medium speed at all.
