It must have been a glitch in the software because now it is running much cooler.&nbsp; CPU steady at 39 deg, and case is 32 deg.&nbsp;<BR><BR>Yes Colin, I do have good airflow in my case.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I have a sy-kt333 dragon ultra and it has onboard system monitoring. My question is that I have noticed the CPU temp is a little high, like 48-51 deg C. This is when I have just a couple of programs running. Is this normal for an XP 1800 or could the temp be wrong.

Sounds a tad high bud.. What monitoring prog are you using?

It is the soyo hardware monitoring software.

GNXtreme do you know if the Soyo takes its temperature readings from the inside the CPU? If it does, that temp is about right but if it's from the external sensor, then that's a little high. What's the ambient temp inside your case? Looking at your case it looks like you have good airflow...
