2 grand to spend!

I ain't the most hardware savvy fella on the planet, and there's alot of people here who seem to be alot more intelligent than me when it comes to computer's so i'm asking for your advice on what machine i should get with £2000. I want to know everything, and no Intel chips, just athlon cpu's. I'm going to mainly use this machine for leisure so i need a powerful gfx card and i do alot of cd burning!<BR><BR>thx alot

Im not sure how much £2000 id american.... but if its close to $2000 I say you spend less than half of it on a computer. You can build an amazing machine for $1000.<BR><BR><a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.pricewatch.com">Pricewatch</a> is a good place to start for building a computer.

Pricewatch is definitely your freind.&nbsp; I have about $750.00 USD in my machine right now.&nbsp; IMO it is a good macnine for gaming,or just about anything else that I can throw at it.&nbsp; Most of my parts came from vendors on pricewatch.com.
