Okay... this is it! What should I upgrade too? Here is what I am currently thinking of upgrading too (If anything changes then it should be in this price range). Tell me what the prices are canadian (cause I may have some wrong.... So tell me what the prces are.../If I have the prices right). I get everything for Wholesale if that makes a difference.... Although I dont think the prices I have are wholesale....Thanks.... I think.

1.2-1.8 GHz Celeron 120$-170$
256 MB RAM 40$ (for another 128 stick)
Radoen 9000 or Pro (have no idea of prices unless you x the US prices by 1.whatever)
Windows XP 150$

Thanks-ish.

Here ya go:

$73 - Celeron 1.3GHz (114.758 CAD)
$45 - RDRAM 128MB (70.7384 CAD)
$80 - RADEON 9000 (125.758 CAD)
$99 - Windows XP Pro (Lisense only, you provide the copy ) (155.632 CAD)

All prices at pricewatch, so prices for your choice may vary. Conversion of money is HERE.

So, are you looking to get all this together, or just one or two things right now?

Thankss Are these wholesale or not? And I thought RDRAM costed more. And I thought celerons didn't support RDRAM. Or is that 1.3 GHz celeron a P4 celeron? Is XP pro like XP professinal? Cause I think I only need the home edition. OR is pro a different version of it? Whats the difference? And I thought price watch was americian, so these ARE canadian prices right? How did you get the canadian prices of em?Well, thanks. I'm planning on getting the Videocard now. the RAM and XP for/after xmas. and the Celeron May or earlier (depending on how much cash I have), around my birthday. Oh crap! I also was gonna ask how much a 7200 40 gig maxter is. So.... Do you think the 1.3 celeron would be the best upgarde for me? I have another question too, In NeverwinterNights it pauses every once in awhile or teh frame rate slows down fro a sec. I think this is because of my RAM but it may not be. I also want to play GTA3 at a higher res then 600-800. I am planning on getting unreal torniment 2003 aswell as starwars galexies and Doom3 next year But by then I'll prbably get another upgrade. One last question: When I get my Radeon 9000 I won't have my new procceser yet so well my current procceser be able to handle it? Thanks alot, and sorry for all the questions and spelling/grammer errors.

EDIT: Whoops, you listed the canadian conversion. Sorry.

Oh comeon, last time I got a reply in under 5 minutes. Please?

EDIT: And is the 9000 pro much better then the 9000? I know it has more bandwidth and cloakspeed... Does that mean it can have more stuff moving and more pixals? I'll have 125$ by the end of augest and I get 50$ a month (what I'm just a kid) so if I waited another month or so I could get the 9000 Pro. Would it be worth it? And will my processer be able to take advantage of the videocard? I mean doesn't the processer need to be so fast to use the videocard or something? And one last question, how do I find out what speed of AGP I have? I might be able to find the motehrboard box, would it say it on there? But if I can't...

Max,

Go to Pricewatch and do some shopping for yourself allready.

XP Pro (Build 2600)(Professional)(Corporate) differs from the home edition because you dont have to register it after you install it.

I personally think you would be wasting your money on a celeron, I think if your gonna upgrade, get a DDR board and buy a T-bird at least (if your going AMD).

PS

Why do you keep asking about wholesale prices, are you a retailer?

Pardon the rhetorical question, but I promise your not going to find prices lower than pricewatch very easily.

If you don't like AMD and you don't want P4, then yes go with the PIII.
