its got a PII slot precessor and i want to know if i can stil get a mobo that supports slot processors, and if i find one, can i get a Slot CPU that runs a 600mhz or above

If you are looking into buying a m-board and processor just get whatever you want.  To answer your question, yes there are slot boards still available and will go over 600MHz.  You can also get an adapter to convert a slot board into a socket 370.  It is just whatever you want to do...the possibilitys are endless.
