more XP questions

well, just one.<BR><BR>when i click on the start button, and all my icons pop-up, how do i get to the ones at the top? ie the ones above programs? AOL put a damn icon there and i want to get rid of it.<BR><BR>Well, i guess i have two questions. On my laptop, there is a "adress" bar, so i can input www adresses very quickly. It's located on my task bar. The damn thing takes up almost 1/2 the space. I want it gone. any ideas?

I am using Windows 98 but I am guessing it will be the same.<BR><BR>Start menu icons are located within c:WindowsStart Menu<BR><BR>Next question. Right click on the toolbar. Select "Toolbars" or something that looks similar. Remove the checkmark next to "Address."<BR><BR><BR>

Before you do any thing on XP with the taskbars, right click on it and click 'Lock the taskbar' to untick it. Then you can rightclick the task bar > toolbars > address bar. As for the AOL link right click it and click delete
