im gonna do a upgrade, and well what mobo should i get??<BR>i want somin that has 4 ram slots(ddr of course)<BR>and supports athlon, and hopefully not to crappy

I purchased a new motherboard recently, and it was my first non-intel chipset supporting motherboard. I wanted the 4 RAM slots too, so i could upgrade when needed, and i wanted usb 2.0, because almost all of my devices (except my pos palm m105...serial port...) transfer information with usb, and finally i wanted something with 6 IDE slots. I went with the EPoX 8K5A3+ and got it new for $105 USD. this board is also said to have excellent overclockability, but i can't really comment on that yet since i haven't begun. Pcstats wrote a review on an EPoX 8K5A2+ not too long ago, so you might want to check that out as well. search for it in the articles section.
