which one would you guys buy? MSI Geforce4 mx440-vt dual head vivo, or radeon 128mb 8500le, DVi, s-out??<BR>the g4 is $169 canadian, and the 8500le is $149 canadian...<BR>I do not know what ram the 8500le is using though....it is OEM...the g4 is retail...

The 8500le will give you much better performance. It also has direct x 8.1 which the mx does not. The 8500 has 250 MHz DDR ram and processor speed is the same. It can be over clocked to 275 to work the same as a non le version quite easily. Geforce makes good cards but I would avoid the mx series like the plague.

I am pretty sure that OEM radeon 8500les do not all have the same ram(different NS) and features(dvi and so on..). From wut Ive heard, the shop carrying the 8500le, has 5ns ram....dvi, s-vid out....should i still get that? or would u now change ur decision to the g4....

never get a MX. there watered down way 2 much. i'd suggest gettin a 8500 from pricewatch.com
