Integrated Graphics....and sound?

We've all seen mother-boards out there that show off integrated graphics, and truth is, they're getting better at it. We've also seen the boards that show off integrated sound and now support 5.1 and even 6.1 surround sound. But is there a board with the best of both worlds? Has one hit the shelves yet that has both of these technologies in one? I've been looking, but obviously I don't know the right places to look. Have you guys seen one? I'm more interested in an AMD chipset, but will consider an INTEL chip if there's a board available.

AMD motherboards with the best integrated graphics and sound are by far boards with the NVidia nForce Chipset. If you can find a new board with the nForce 2 Chipset (just released) then you probably found an extremely good board that will give you what your looking for. It'll most likely have an integrated NIC too.

Off the top of my head I can only think of the Asus A7N266. I'm sure there are many more. Just check different hardware sites. I know MSI has one too, but I don't remember the model number.<BR>

go to pricewatch.com and on the main screen type in nforce 2 at the top. it should give you some boards and pricing.

the Asus A7N-8X is quite worthwhile solution, utilizing the Nvidia nForce2 chipset. The review is at Firingsquad.com.. It got a pretty good score of 93%, you should check it out and see for yourself
