Whats with Mac OS

i dont want to get into a bashing frenzy against macs are anything...<BR>but why do people like that OS, be it 9 or X or whatever<BR>I think it is the worst OS i have ever used but some people think it kicks windows butt<BR>whatsup? can anyone tell me why?<BR><BR>oh and i mainly dont like it becuase its just soooo slow and its not compatible with almost anything

If MAC OS X was ported to an x86 machine and supported Windows programs, I'd use it.

I work with Mac's and I find OS X a very simple Operating System. Most users I talk to say they like it better than previous Like 8.6 and 9.0 but the only issue they experience is the different look. Also I think the issue with OS X is the version you have. The 1st version of OS X sucked but come on that happens with any new Operating System. Now Jaguar kicks ass. Very stable and I will say If I had $5,000 to burn on a dual 1.2 G4 w/Super Drive then I would switch to a Mac but I like building a system and knowing what I put into it.

My views are exactly the same as yours. If money was no issue, and there was even half the 3rd party hardware as the PC has, I'd probably be a Mac Addict <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I think MACs are CRAP and people who think they are good obviously haven't tried a PC

I know alot of people that have PC's and Mac and they prefer their Mac over any PC. Like Shiznit said if Mac had 3rd party products they would sell a hell of a lot of them!!!! I am not trying to say either that PC's suck compared to MAC!!!

Both systems have their benifits. For gaming which is primarily what I do, PC is the way to go. If all I did was Surf/Email/Office work, I'd prefer a Mac.
