Hey aceMan... When you install programs as the administrator, sometimes the program will ask you "Install for all users?". Obviously there say no.

You can also tweak what the other users see in their start menu.

Load up Windows Explorer. Go to the HDD where your OS is installed and find the Documents and Settings Folder. Inside there you'll see all the accounts for that computer. Go to which ever account you want to edit and just change their start menu.

Users without administrative rights will not be able to edit those folders.

Hi Colin,
Well while installing the programs I dont get any prompts stating whether to install on all users. hmmmm

An anyway, I went to the Docments and Settings folder opened the particular users folder... but I cant see the programs that are installed, I can only see it in 'all users' folder. But when I log into individual user I can see the programs there. This is where I am confused.

Please help
Thx

Hmm... aceMan are you sure you have admin access? It doesn't sound like it, rather from what you said it sounds more like you have Power User status.
