Performance Wizards

I always see tons of ads claiming that a Perfomance Wizard could boost your PC's performance. I am not planning on using one cause Im not paying money for something that really isnt that important, but I was just wondering, has anybody ever tried one, does it boost performance a lot? can you notice it?

Most of those performance wizards dont' do anything... THey usually do registry tweaks that we'd all do anyway. Not really worth your while.<BR><BR>I find that RAM defraggers though do work quite well though myself. I find them extremely useful especially after I converted a DVD to DiVX.

Haha Polykranopalous I live in the forums here remember? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>Actually our office is pretty nice, got lots of windows and lots of things to look at. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Got a great view of the financial district and in the summer, there are a lot of nice girls walking outside! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
