486 and Gold

Just wondering, and this may sound stupid, but i have alot of broken 486, 386, Pentium processors lyin around, and was wondering if the conductors would be worth strippin, and perhaps, even selling somewhere. its gonna take alot before i have any substatial amount of gold to "awe" at. but still, i'd just like to see, but i'd like to know, before i start mutilating, is it really gold? and what else can i tear apart?

mE_sTiR I thought about that a while ago as well, but I don't think processors use high karrat gold for their pins... I'm not sure but I don't think they would.<BR><BR>I would put it up on eBay as well, you can sell anything there!

Ahhh....everyone is AMD except Colin. Ha Ha. CompSnake and mE_sTiR...join the PCStats folding team. Poor Colin has to run a few Intel rigs to keep up with us AMD'ers.
