i'm running win ME with a amd duron 1.3ghz
224mb ram,
20gb maxtor hdd,
4.3gb fujitsu slave,
freecom cdrw, and 54x cd rom,
an asrock k7vm2 motherboard
32mb s3 savage agp graphics,
intel 546ep v.92 modem
and onboard sound.

i recently changed my windows boot logo from the standard logo to a picture of my son and i can't seem to keep the boot logo screen on for more then a couple of seconds then have a blank screen till windows loads up. have added the command logo=1 to msdos.sys with no luck still, has anyone any ideas how to bypass this either by adding a pic viewer to startup or by using the original logo.sys.

this was also the same problem before i changed the logo

Try putting the picture back to what it was then see if it takes the same amount of time. If it does you know that it is unrelated to your boot logo. Check there are no resource zapping programs starting up when you turn on your PC.
