filip69692000 unlocking the processor allows you to run your FSB much higher and that allows data to flow through your system much quicker.. With a faster FSB, your memory, videocard, PCI devices and such get data much faster. There are many benefits of unlocking but if you can't risk killing your processor I wouldn't recommend it.<BR><BR>As for how to do it, it's pretty simple... To unlock a Palomino, you simply need to fill the gaps between the L1 bridges (I use Poly Instafil myself) and then connect the L1's with some rear window defogger repair kit. <BR><BR>Basically in the end filip69692000 you want to make your L1's look like this | | | | |. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>There is a risk of killing your processor so if you can't risk that, don't do it!
