I'm look for non-3D war strategy game settled on space (not on land) similar to ST: Armada.
I remember you start with Construction ship have ability to mining and building the space stations. Also, it can move to anywhere. It come with a tiny spacecraft to pick up raw materials automatically.
This game come with 4 different species.
One of species is usually human beings and their construction ship look like sphere which open their doors to release a tiny spacecraft to get raw materials.
Another species' base station look like a kind of pyramid.
I think it released before 1999-2000.
yeah, I think so too.

StarCraft is published by Blizzard Entertainment.
The Battle.Net and WarCraft people.
Although Starcraft fits most of that description...it doesn't have 4 races, just 3. Terran are like humans and the Protoss have pyramids shaped bases. The Zerg have no real good description...he he...
Starcraft is one of the finest Strategy games out there...
