whats the normal vcore setting for an amd xp 1800 palomino??
bluegreenshxt the default voltaqge on Palomino chips is 1.75V... Are you planning to overclock? If you are, I wouldn't want to go much above 1.95V wiht air.

no...no overclockin for me for a while..LOL...killed enough hardware for the moment...LOL queer tho...my v core for my msi is 1.71-1.73 but its 1.808 for my asus...both of em are set on auto..i think that would help explain my temperatures with the asus...lol
i heard some new asus's new series of mobos do have the tendency to over push the voltage a little bit to achieve a slight performance increase. but you shouldn't worry about that. my palomino is running with 1.8 vcore on my A7N8x too.

-bam!
bluegreenshxt those voltages are just fine... MSI tends to undervolt a bit, Asus overvolt.
