i don't know if any of you have discovered about this little neat program.. it's call EMIII. electron microscope II. it's basically a plug-in program for F@H it not only shows you the protein graph, it also give you the approximate time it'll take for you to finish current fold and also the time in hours, mins you'll finish this fold. it also calculate how fast it takes for you to complete one frame and tells you what kind of protein you are folding and what will be the next protein (gromac or tinker... etc). it'll also monitor your folding status and if there's any erros by any chance it'll aler you with sounds. there are many many more features that this program can do, check it out yourself. EMIII

if i were you i would read the instructions first. it's long but very helpful. oh and during the instruction it'll tell you to direct your F@H exe "console" file to the program. don't worry about it, it works with the regular gui client software too. if it come up an error message says it's not an F@H2 or F@H 3 folder just proceed and click ok. just make sure you haev the lastest 3.24 client software. have fun guys!

-bam!

Hmm...I had one of those wierd 6000 WUs so I'm not really sure...it took the program a while to work it out, and I'm till learning to read it

yeah... those 6000 folds don't do ************************.. not even worth one point!!... when you get the 400WU's tell me... i just wanna know what everyon'e "time per frames" are. oh and.... you should read the instruction on the site.. it's very helpful. it tells you what everything means.

2 minutes 2 seconds for an average 400WU tinker. not bad...I think...I don't know...
And my job doesn't exactly go with rtfm, so I still never read any manual. (bad idea, I know...but I haven't been wrong yet...I still haven't opened the manual to the new Power4 cluster...but I've got it up and running and chirping away happily, the manual for the frigging thing looks like Websters Un-abridged Dictionary...and reads about the same aswell.......)

i get about 2mins 12 secs for an average 400 tinker WU. since my CPU is clocked at 2.13 and yours is at 2.27 i guess that sounds about right. i tried to clock it back down to 2100+ to see how it runs.. turned out to be 2mins 50 secs. so i guess that sounds just about right too. just wanted to know what you guys haev.

I'll have to try tonight and clock it higher to see what time I get...Interesting how yours takes 1.85 to get to 2.13Ghz, and mine will do 2.27Ghz with 1.800...

when i said i used 1.85 for vcore before that was for 2.20 Ghz. 2.13Ghz only takes about 1.75. i know it's a big jump!!. and plus you have to understand that i am doing all the overclocking with multiplyers, so no fsb involved. like i said before .. my memory is preventiing me from fsb OC. i think the processor itself internal frequency maxes out at 16 multiplyer (2.13 Ghz) i went up to 16.5(2.2) and there ain't much performance increase and takes so much more voltage. so i guess if i wanna go even higher .. i am gonna have to use the external frequency (FSB).

true, I'm running 175FSBx13 mulitplier, I'll bump that to 14x and see what happens

Hey, I got it to work without ever looking at the instructions
And, if they wanted you to read them, they would have been at the beginning of the install...or wait, were they? I always just click yes yes, yes, no, yes, etc...
