Haha... Howard BAM! it's cuz I'm using a Radeon 9700 Pro which is a DX9 compliant. 3DMark03 gets most of its points from the Mother Nature demo. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Don't worry guys... 3DMark gets abotu 60% of its score from the Mother Nature demo, all videocards that are not compliant with DX9 get lousy scores.

I've been up all night tweaking my system to the max, and this was the best score I could come up with. If anyone has any advice on how to improve my score, lemme know. ounagi, first of all, your problem of 3dmark can't focus is caused by F@H. so if you shut down the F@H software it should be fine. i find F@H still buggy when it comes to playing games and watching DVD. <BR><BR>and about your question towards OC. what would you like to know?... i OCed my cpu as you can see. although, instead of using the FSB trick like everyone else, i used only multiplyer. the temperature stays more stable. my memory doesn't like higher frequencies so i haevn't been able to do the FSB trick. so far my multiplyer is clocked at 16x. that's pretty much the highest internal clock this 2100+ T-bred can handle. hopefully when i get some good rams i'll be able to use external clocks (FSB) to clock it even higher. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><BR>hope that answered your question. <BR><BR>-bam!

ounagi just wondering did you what monitor drivers are you using? I have heard of that error with 3DMark2001SE and it turned out to be the monitor driver...<BR><BR>Damn Shiznit, if you can pull that type of numbers with your rig, perhaps I gotta go back to AMD! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0"> Wow, you hit 42 million 3dmark points only 4 days 3DMark was released! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

i encountered that problem with 3dmark 2001 before. it was the exact error as you described. so i shuted down F@H and everything worked out great!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. my monitor driver is what came with my monitor from samsung 191T

ounagi you see the red thingy in your taskbar next to the clock? It should look something like this... <BR><BR><img src="http://www.pcstats.com/articleimages/200302/fold2.gif"><BR><BR>When you right click it, it will bring up that menu simply go to quit and F@H shuts down. It is F@H, I get that problem as well with it enabled. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

He suggests downloading the file again, it may have gotten corrupted.
