cs 1.5 problem

well u all know i play cs all the time right, well to day i can't seem to connect to a game or creat one, when it says liek connecting (123.33.42.41:27015) it just frezzes, it doesnn't do anytihg, when i press esc nuttin happens, so i know its not the server or connection, its the whole game, anything i can try before uninstalling and reinstalling??

ok i tried another mod for half life, and same thing happened maybe its my connection?

are the different mods using the same server? it could be that server is down... You might want to try to contact your internet provider and ask them if there is something wrong

I'm having the same problem, along with 2 other friends of mine but another friend can get in, we all get won authentication can not be made, so I take it as WON is down...

hmm u might be rite, running Counterstrike on a 32 mb nvidia TNT2, might have stressed it out too much

It's not a graphics problem, as I said earlyier my friends and I cannot get in either and I dont have the best card in the world but I know it wouldnt be causing 5 of us to not be able to get on CS.

CS is full of holes/hacks/cheats.....it's no surprise if it isn't working.

ut2k3 is the most kick ass game ever, i agree completely!!<BR>generals is a great game, unreal was boring too short, mafia was crap, never winter nights sucked balls, hitman 2 rocked. i loved strangling people<BR><BR>but cs has a certain "je ne se quoi" and i still play it for about 40 hours a week.

CS bothers me, I play it every once in a while although I don't get addicted to it like some. I really need to finish upgrading my system before I get back into gaming, my current computer crashes constantly on high usage conditions. My new Epox 8RDA+ Mobo that's coming on Wednesday should help a bit. No longer will I be running a Compaq computer. Woo Freedom!

I wish... I actually have to put it back together for my mom because she wants it back to it's original "working status". If 8mb video and 128mb PC100 Ram is your preference, then more power to ya... It certianly worked better before I played with it, it liked the way it was built and doesn't like the idea of bigger and better I guess...
