My 2k1 score, VERY close to record in its class

I came VERY close to getting first in my class lastnight, according to 3dmarks project search and compare approx cpu & gpu speeds, i'm currently in second with a score of 10949, all i need is 10963 for first, the only o'c i did was with my card, getting it up to 250/540, i was able to complete the test with it at 255/555, but it was very unstable and i lost about 200 points because of it. I was thinking about picking up a zalman heat pipe cooling system for my geforce 3, i'm currently using a crystal orb, and its a damn good cooler aswell. As you can see, i'm only about 14 points shy of the record, which is nothing for 3dmark, i could probably run it again with same exact settings and get the record. The record is mine! PCSTATS 3DMARK TEAM represent!! hehe<BR><BR><BR>Oh, <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5979039">HERE</a> is a compare of my score, and the <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5813805">ONE</a> i need to beat.

TheDevil go for it! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> You can do it I'm sure! <BR><BR>You should try some different drivers though, the new 42.xx's are optimized for 3DMark03 and DX9 actually lowers performance a bit... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> If you were still using DX 8.1 I'm sure you would have passed that guy.<BR><BR>You are running your memory at the most aggressive memory timings right?

pretty aggresive i'd say, 2.5-2-2-6. There are a ton of little tricks i know to up my score, its just a matter of time

TheDevil change your CAS Latency from 2.5 to 2... If you have to raise your voltage do it, that should bump you past 10963! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
