i've only done 200 and 400 before.... whered that come from???

i was already at 1200 when i checked this morning!

think that'll be worth some points?
I've done a couple of 6000WUs but they aren't worth much...
dl EMIII and it'll tell you how many points to expect. Itcan be found in this forum, I think the heading is F@H addon software.

the points that EMIII estimates... is it the number on the same line as protein? (like this)

Protein: 220 p623_TZ2?NAT (19.7)

the 19.7? hehe thats the one that my work comp's doing (its not very fast)
(19.7) is the number of points it's worth but that's not part of the name of the protein. The stuff before it is.

And the bigger proteins like 4000 or 6000 aren't worth that much, sadly. The best deal are the 400's methinks.
I agree with roy, the 400's are the best. I have a 200 that is taking forever...(well 34 hours to be exact) and it's worth 55.5 point according to EMIII
the 400 worth 19.7 are the best, they are quick to be done and worth quite a bit...
JLAudioFan I had a 6000WU but it was worth like 2 points...

Well I guess we'll know how many points it's worth soon, make sure you let us know.
personally i think those 200 WU with 73 points are worth the most. they might take a long time to complete but 73 points in 48 hours that's a good deal!

I did a couple 73pt WU's, but my last few have just been regular 400's giving me between 15-20 pts.
Hmm... I haven't gotten any of those monster 73 point wu's yet! Not fair!!!

how can i check to see how many points a specific fold gave me?

I think it was prolly worth around 20, since i had about 150pts and i have 170 somethin now

I'd have another machine working, but unfortunately it's giving me grief installing XP... i need to find the right XP lol
I usually just see how much my score jumps.. It sounds like that was a 20 pointer...

LOL, it's probably because all the AMD ppl are kicking my ass!

We're still moving up quicker then I thought we would!

I can't beleive we have over 100 people folding. This forum is growing too fast for me to keep up with all the people. It's good to have lots of new faces, but it I liked it when I knew everyone too.

Only a few of them have come into the forum so far.

Ya, honestly I kinda miss the "personal" touch myself as well. But that's ok I like how the forum has progressed so far!
Just for you guys who like the personal touch, i am going to say hello again to you all.

Look for me in the team list under Steve_Clayton.......... and then start to shudder, cos I am preparing a major ass kickin for you all (Evil laugh)

I am in the UK so it is difficult to take part in the conversations, but they are fun to read at work when I have a quiet moment.

Just so you all know, My AMDXP 1800+ (1684MHZ -- XP2000) folds about as fast as my P4 2.6.

And before any one starts banging on about being the fastest single processor folder....... tough, buy some more computers, or at-least steal some

It states under mt stats tat i have 5 processors, but this is no longer true, I retired my PIII cos it was crap. it was taking over 1 hour to do 1/200 on a 75 pointer.

here are my specs again:

Home : AMDXP 1800+ (1684MHZ - XP200) - 512 DDR - Gforce4 - 17" LCD 100Gb HD
Work : P4 2.6 - 512 DDR - 60GB hd (HP/Compaq)
work 2: Dual P4 2.4 - 2.5GB DDR - 240 GB SCSI - (IBM xseries - Terminal Services)
Work 3 : P4 2.4 - 1.5GB DDR - 60Gb Hd (HP/Compaq)

Hey clayts! Nice to see ya around!

Ya, we all know F@H likes AMD's more powerful FPU more so it's not much of a surprise your XP 1800+ folds just as fast as your P4 2.6 GHz.

Good luck with your folding, I know recycle and Caveman Basser would like some more competition!
