I suppose a 600 mark increase by merely tweaking your processor buy 800mhz and your video card by a bit is pretty good. What are good 9700PRO clocks, the memory seems low only 364.5Mhz or do you double that to give 729? 513 core is certainly good. My friends Ti4600 runs at 400/800 gpu/memory. At least that is what the tweaker tells him. Am I reading something wrong here?<BR>In his description he has his P4 rated at 4453mhz but 3dMark03 says it's 4245. What is with that? He never ran any of the CPU tests or sound tests. Wierd.

Actually what I find more impressive is that Colin is getting 6k and change on a much lower clocked and cheaper rig. <BR>Ummm, and yeah I looked that board up, with a P4 3.06Ghz it's $956 USD. I didn't see that mentioned on the website, but it does support dual channel DDR400. Hmm.

Colin....this should help with your question if the R350 is merely an faster R300. Those clock speeds are much higher than the R350 is expected to be, yet it doesn't give the 3DMark2003 scores the R350 should have. I guess there are going to be more core improvments than just a mere increase in clock speed.

zaltec because it's DDR, you double the number to get the SDR rate... For instance when ppl quote those really high numbers (like your friend with his 800 MHz memory) that's the SDR rate...<BR><BR>Holicho's memory is running 729 MHz... not sure bout canada but In USa dsl maxes out at 768 kbps, in holland it can be unlimited (2.0mbps) which is what I have

Hmm...I asked round and the max up I could get was 768k. The slowest was 128k. I could get a direct cab line which is unlimited, or I could get T lines...for 1, 2, and 3 mbps...but just regular dsl wouldn't cut it<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> <BR>Nice that you can get it...and 20 mbps up/down is some serious speed. You should tap onto the 15tbps lines for a real speed rush<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">
