Does anybody know what this card compares to?
I can find specs on the Pro version but what is the TX version?
The TX is the Dell Radeon 9700. They just added their own letters to make themselves feel special. It is only 4X AGP not that there is any real difference between 8X and 4X.

So Dell puts there name on it so they can feel special, well why can't I put my name on it and sell it like a normal brand so I can feel special?

Im gonna take a guess here... The TX is sold in Dell computers and can only be used on Dell computers? or is the TX just like the pro and non-pro versions of the card and can be used in any machine... are they cheaper than getting a pro/non-pro

LOL@CompSnake

The Radeon 9700 TX is the non-pro version. Maybe the TX comes from the fact that Dell is based in Texas (TX).

ahhh no fighting... hmm so the only place we can fight is in the cafe, its not big enough in there too fight any more cause than too many people join in and than it become a hazard
Sodrak welcoem to PCStats...

Shiznit is right, the Radeon TX is Dell's card... It's not as fast as the regular 9700 Pro, but it's a bit faster then the standard 9700 from what I hear.

LOL, maybe a flaming forum would be good...

I agree Poly...that's why I don't usually post in the "social" threads. To many peeps get involved. Your away for an hour and you got 50 posts. I don't have time to read through all that crap because as we know, here in PCStats the true topic of the thread changes ever 5-10 posts.
Haha... We should have a rule of no thread stealing then!
But that would take all the fun out of posting on the forum

i agree with Colin about no stealing others threads... Its happen before that somebody asks a question and by the second post its off-topic and the question gets left unanswered

wait no... we shouldnt have that rule - I go off topic lots!
LOL... I was just joking.

Thread stealing is going to happen no matter what I say, but let's try answering the author's question or comments first.

I believe, by the time the question was answered (the 2nd post) it was allowed that the 3rd+ posts could be over, which by the 4th post we went off topic
I found answer in another forum.
Card is Dell brand 8x agp.
Controller speed is slower ( 263MHz TX versus 324MHz Pro ) - thats only difference.
