If your case temp is 66, it has to be somewhere between 60-65 in the room your in. If your willing to freeze your ass off just to hold the coolest case record, go for it. I'd put my case out the window onto our porch roof and get some temperature readings. A couple days ago I could of gotten a reading of -20F. That would've been nice.

Well as most of you know I am severly into modding my Pc and yet keeping the Pcstats record for Air cooling <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <BR><BR>I seen this product I had to have just to help shiznit out , something to cover the GOD awfull ORANGE fan on my cpu .<BR>TT made a mod for the Smartfan 2 to change its color to RED/BLUE or just BLUE . DONT buy it if you are to beat my low ait temp score .<BR>It restricts the air flow buy half if not more. <BR>So your 25 dollar heay duty work horse fan is reduced to no better the a 23 cfm fan that costs 3 dollars and will be WAY MORE QUIET .<BR><BR>And the stupid Computer store sent the wrong color GRRRRRRRRRRR .<BR><BR>But still look for it in my new mod for the case ( prodjectx nears )<BR><BR>

That's good to know. I was seriously considering that mod for my new rig. Think I've made up my mind now on a Swiftec H2O-8500 set-up. Company boss finally opened his wallet for our Christmas bonus (we get it this Friday). You better believe I'll be ordering an Athlon 2800+ Barton this weekend!!!!

I love my swiftech .<BR> And dont get me wrong that fan works well without that mod on it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <BR>But it 10 bucks cheaper

Airflow record or not....If you have a case window, it should be illegal to use the orange TT fan because it has to be the ugliest piece of computer hardware I've ever seen. For some, this is no problem. I'm one of those people that keep the inside of my case dust free, all wires bundled together, and all the PCB has to match <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Aww But it does MATCH . Orange/gold/chrome vs Black/Red.....hmmmm. I would hate to see the colors you'd paint your house. Not that I'd paint my house black and red, but you never mix chrome and gold. Just a little advice for ya. There is a reason there aren't many people out there with orange as their fav. color.....it's pretty damn ugly.

Not that Crome and gold are bad to have in the house but Crome or Gold or both EG: Thermaltake Hardcano 5 and when you have 3 of them in your box THATS ALOT OF CROME AND GOLD and some COol Hds <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <BR><BR>opps lets finish that your gold and crome are the most common things attached to things to impress people in most cases ( even pc cases look at polished allum. ) And the inside of your case has crome effect <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

LMAO!!! Remind me not to use any of you as interior decorators when I finally buy a house!!!<BR>I ended up choosing the SOYO Dragon Ultra Platinum for my MB (I'll probably exchange it for an Epox later when I want to OC) and like things to match to some degree. i'm liking the Sapphire Ultra (heat pipe no fan) as it is the only ATI 9700Pro I know of that would match this color combo.....

I <i>see</i> now!!!! It has more to do with your willingness to sit in a 'fridge than the components themselves. LOL.<BR>There must be some way of using a dryer vent (2), a board and some flexible tubing in the window to create a cold vent into and out of the case I have sitting on my desk.hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........all without freezing my @$$ off in the process........<BR>hmmmmmm is this what it feels like to be bitten by the mod bug?

Im not sure about all u people but to keep at room at mid 70's or low eightys is not HEALTHY . Or economical . Considering we produce the HYDRO for Manitoba we still pay the most and use the most .
