Ok, im surprised at the first american mission in the
it takes place in Bagdad, Iraq.
then when you enter the town, the iraqies shoot antrax at there own civilains (kinda like rl)
anyone else surprised they were alloud to add this to the game?
I am sure the game was in design way before any of the iraq stuff started to happen. ... either way i dont see why they wouldnt be allowd to put it in the game. its a part of life. why cant a game represent something thats very much true to life?

That's because it was an attack on our own country and our people. It hurt us. But we aren't afraid to insult and deface other countries. Stupid america...

ahhh who cares, the thing is its a good game
Wow, that's really lame. I can't believe so many movies/games cut out the Twin Towers because of what happened on September 11th.

The example that pisses me off the most is the book 'Survivor' by Chuck Palahniuk was supposed to be made into a movie but just because the plot is based around a guy hijacking a plane and crashing it, they won't allow the movie to be made. For those of you who don't know, Chuck Palahniuk is the guy who wrote 'Fight Club' and David Fincher directed the movie Fight Club. Mr. Fincher was planning to take role of director for Survivor. It would've been an excellent movie because the directior and storyline are both genius. To make things just a little bit more worse, the plan doesn't crash into any buildings, and he's the only one in the plane when it crashes. So WTF? It has no relationship to '9/11'. Not only that, but if you don't want to be reminded of such an event, don't watch a movie who's plot is 'related' to it. Just because it exists it won't do any harm to anyone.

Geez.

I'm not going to say anything here, because I know I'll have some little ass coming in here saying your wrong poly and than they'll take a part my message bit by bit and say stuff about each part and yadda yadda, a good prime example is in the cafe, but i wont go there

Is C&C generals a good game?

It's not really that good no special chars [ that are any good]. There's no storyline and the misions just don't have the depth they used too.

As for america it sucks! i live there too

I can understand why Non-Americans may not like what we do because we can do things in the world that they can't, but I don't see why some Americans (very few of them) don't like the things we do. All those picketing peace protesters need to go back home. It's too cold to be outside doing that ************************, and nobody is listening to them anyways.
if you keep on playing the game. you'll find out more stuff that reflects more to the current situation! even splinter cell!!! that game reflects the current war against terror situation. a terrorist leader (so called) is being hunted for setting off a bomb in US.

I am a passive activist. The way I see it, America can't keep it's nose out of business that's not it's own. For as long as I have been around and longer America has thought that it being a world power gave it the right to run other countries too. Granted, Iraq is a bad place and you won't find me arguing that. What you will find me arguing is that nothing is worth war. If you can avoid war and maintain the stability of the world then by all means do so. But when everything is peaceful and people aren't screaming for emancipation or equal rights, then why would you start a war? There will be nothing accomplished by destroying Iraq except another stripe on a uniform. It's a pointless endeavor.

good way to put it Lakario!
Anyway back to Generals - there isnt too much depth to it, missions arent that hard, for god sakes theres only about 7 missions each side, and when I played America I had beaten al the missions under 15 minutes so to basically beat the game on all 3 teams it would take you about 5 hours if my calculations arent wrong

Iraq threatened our peace. Any country that supports terrorism threatens our peace and we therefore have a right to defend ourselves. That gives us a huge list of countries we are allowed to look into for this. Afghanistan was the first. Unfortunately damn near 3000 people died in the WTC attacks. How many people did we lose whooping Afgahnistans ass for letting Osama peacefully live there. It sure as hell wasn't another 3000. So it was worth it for us to ensure that Afghanistan wouldn't be behind another attack. Now it is Iraq's turn. I have yet to see any real proof as how Iraq was as big of a threat to the US. Needless to say, Saddam isn't one of our biggest friends. And he tried to kill our Presidents Dad. If someone tried to kill your father, you'd probably be pretty pissed, wouldn't you? It isn't smart to piss of the guy that has the worlds strongest/most advanced army behind him, now is it. Of course Saddam didn't know Bush Jr. would take power, but, sh*t happens. After this, who knows......N.Korea, Iran....someone else will be in the spot light for doing something. Personally, I hope it's France
