personally.. i don't like UT2003. it's just running around shooting everyone you see without any objectives and storyline. Unreal II the awakening on the other hand totally blew my mind, not only the graphics is stunning but the game play, story lines are just awesome. i just finished that game like coulple weeks ago. it was a shame that it was only that short!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> great job to those people who created it tho!

I just played the demo (UT2), and wasnt all that impressed with it.<BR><BR>Im not for sure if Andy is tlking about Unreal 2 or Unreal Tournament 2. I cant comment on Unreal 2.

it's based on the same grpahic engine. however, unfortunately there's not multiplayer. and the game is not very long, although worth it tho. game play is very fun and if you like the UT2003 graphics engine you'll love this game!>!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hi all. Im new here, so I'll say hello first. Hello hehe. Anyways, I think Unreal 2 is a fantastic game. It's been a long time coming, but well worth the wait. The graphics are amazing, and despite some peoples veiws on the story, I find it very involving and well told. It would have been great if they had added multiplayer, but after already playing it twice through, i'm still not bored of it, so will be playing it again, and again, and again (as soon as I get my current pc problems sorted out that is) <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

mebbie somebody should make a weapon pack for UT2k3 that immitates Unreal2 weapons that way, its like, making Unreal 2 MP... sorta...<BR>anyways...<BR>i have this problem with my Unreal2... you see, it would run fine... but when in an outside area, it would still run fine... until i die, or something, and than the big stuff would disappear, than reappear... and repeat the process... it would drive me insane... but only after i load.

argh i cant even think of playing that. It would blow up my computer, then give me a blue screen titled "your computer is a piece of sh*t and will be shut down" I can barely play the original. ARGH, one day i will have a good computer........ : stares at the sun :

LOL! Mgkeeper you are so right about that. Just listen to the rest of the "guys" and we'll get you set up with a decent new system that can kickass at Unreal II. BTW, the graphics on that thing floored me so much that I spent the first hour just running around looking while those zenos fragged <i>my</i> ass. LOL! I still love the solar flares shooting of the star/sun in a later level when you are protecting the base. Stunned I say. The graphics are like the screenshots I've seen on VC boxes (back with the GF2 mind you) that I can't figure how they took them because my computer never looked like that <u>with</u> the VC installed. The story was a little too short for me, but mebbe that's because I spent a week straight playing through 3-5AM! LOL! Right now I'm playing Red Faction II, which has a decent story but the graphics suck raw eggs compared to UII.

I hated Unreal 2. The storyline is so stupid, after the first level, I just stopped playing, and never came back to it. <BR><BR>Now, UT2k3 kicks ass! That's a good game! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Giving up so soon Techman has caused you to miss the whole point of the use of the Unreal Engine. The graphics in this game <u>kick butt</u> over anything else I have ever seen! I admit the storyline was a bit lame, but it sure beat the heck out of the original Unreal story. It couldn't possibly compare to the story in NOLF and NOLF2 though.

its good if you have a lousy internet connection (56k) and cant play online with ut2k3.<BR><BR>if u have dsl/cable just get ut2k3 and go online fragging<BR><BR>sadly i have 56k : (

Big flunk.. I liked u2k3 more.. if you want futuristic missles and lazers. It was supposed to be revolutionary.. I personally thought that u2k3 had better graphics. Particle effects were nice in U2 but really.. nothing about the game was very appealing, I didn't even finish it ;P<BR><BR>-Will.

big flunk!<BR><BR>The first time you play it its ok. now that i beat it, im not that interested in playing it again. It takes what seems like 12 min from when you start a new game until your 1st kill. its not fast paced action. you can not skip by almost any cinema scenes which makes it sucky unless its your 1st tie through! the game is poo-poo <BR><img src="http://home.earthlink.net/~rachut/poop.gif">

I wouldn't get it. All it is, is a nice looking boring ass game. Didn't hold my interest for more than a few levels.
