Very pretty case, until you see those CD drives. You gotta mod those things to match the case.

Yeah a stealth mod is definitely in order. I am gonna have to get some pix together on how I did mine.

How exaclty would someone go about modding a cd-drive just taking of the fron and replacing it with plexiglass(sp)?

I just finished reading an article on this... Take the front cover off the cdrom and put soem 2-way sticky tape on where the cover would go than take one of the towers cdrom panels and put it on it using the sticky tape

That is the basic Idea...you still need something to push in the open button, unless you just want to do it from "my computer" or get a nifty program called wineject and set hotkeys on your keyboard.

<< What's up with the bird desktop? A Laser cutter would be awesome, but I thought those things were about $700,000.00.
At least that's what they said on a review I read the other day about some awesome LianLi custom side panels (flaming skulls).

They probably do cost loads...but i am in a dream world and i will never do it. But it would be cool...actually i could get my brother to do it at his university as they have a laser cutter

If the U has one for students to use, go for it!!!! That would be the smoothest case-mod I've ever seen. Almost like making it from scratch.
