my goal was 5k, now im gonna go for 6, but ive reached the limit of my card, i get aritfacts at any high speeds, so i need some other ideas on how to do it

now i got winxp, and i put the newest drivers on and anytime i tryed to run 3d mark with the same overclocks it freezes my comp, then i got dx9 and i cant run the 2001 so i dont know if its gonna freeze my comp.<BR>so heres my question: was it likely freezing because i didnt have dx9?
