OK IMO the best game of all time....Unreal Tournament, as far as just straight up shoot ************************ and blow it up...&nbsp; I like Max Payne for action/strategy, the bullet time kicks ass... Starcraft will always have a place in my heart for RTS, and also Dungeon Seige...

I never got why people like war games so much...<BR><BR>My personal favorite is <A class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.unrealtournament2003.com/" target=blank>UT2003</A> with its editor and everything. There are SOOOO many fun mods out there. <A class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.deathball.net/" target=blank>Deathball</A>, to name one.<BR><BR>The official Epic Bonus Pack has a new gametype called Invasion. At first I thought it wouldn't be so good but I played it and it is the BEST GAMETYPE of all (except for perhaps Deathball). Best of all, it's FREE! Someone noted that if EA released it, it would probably be an expansion that you would have to pay for...

Hah! No One Lives Forever and NOLF2 have the best/most original storyline ever, with a little (well, a lot actually) comedy thrown in for kicks! LOL!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Heck, I play that one over again just to hear the voice acting.

NOLF2 is a nice game (graphics) and has good gameplay. I dont know about the best game, but Return to Castle Wolfentein was a pretty amazing game

I think you're talking about the best PC games of all time, but the <b>very</b> best game of <b>ALL</b> time was when they made <b>GAMES</b> . . . not pretty pictures and kewl sounds. I guess I'd say that it's a toss up for UT or HL. Both are excellent but I unfortunately cannot play UT on my current rig, it doesn't run in OpenGL and this motherboard crashes on 3dfx. Then again, my 800fsb Gigabyte board is coming today then I need to buy my processor and I'll be set. Anyhoo, Allied Assault really isn't that good. The graphics are impressive but it's lacking somewhere along the way. Perhaps it has a bad case of same old same old. Single player is certainly enjoyable, but I just can't say much for the multi-player unfortunately.<BR><BR><script src="http://www.moddev.net/other/clock.js"></script>

you guys are either very young or just dont know better. UT2003 Sucks a$$, period. I will not diglify this collosal failure as even worthy of a mention.<BR>Best game is no doubt and most likely always will be.. Unreal tournament (original) and Unreal (also original). Worthy of a mention are Deus EX, Max payne, Quake 1, Doom series, Half - Life was okay but I hated the ending.<BR>Also Diablo and Diablo2 lod are ..well, good..not sure if being addicted to them makes them good games.<BR>I have to mention system shock2 and descent1,2,3<BR><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
