Server down?

My client hasn't been able to get a new WU. It keeps saying "Couldn't get work instructions." Could this have anything to do with my recent setting of -advmethods ? I would think that, but also, their web site is apparently down. Is everyone else also having problems?

Venom, I doubt it's your settings.<BR>I just noticed it myself. Definitely their server. You can't even check stats there. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"><BR>And my Barton was doing better than T-Bird too.....<BR>

its a scam... I knew IT! They wanted to use our extra power for "medical" purposes when really we were just helping other people out that had slow machines play the newer games with our extra cpu power... and now they got caught so they shut it down....hmmmm (jk)

Well, their internal links still don't work. You can check your stats and the team stats from the task bar, but can't switch from user to team or vice/versa.

LOL! tryin' to freak me out GNX? I'm still there...Currently #27 running only one processor. I fell <i>way</i> behind when other people started folding (I was at #3 for quite some time - lol) and a week without an active comp (HP quite dead). T-birds don't do quite so well. Let's see, Barton is humming along at one unit per 2.5 minutes compared to the 10-15 minutes the Thunderbird took!

rithemking- how did you manage 2.5 minutes per unit with a Barton XP 2800+ @ 2.13Ghz?<BR><BR>Was it oc'd? I can only manage 5 minutes per unit with an XP 2400+ oc'd @ 2.34Ghz with no other progs or utilities running! Does the extra cache on the barton help things along?<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif" border="0">

why are you guys all getting 2.5 mins and 5 mins per frame unit. i am folding at a 2mins 06 secs per frame unit rate for a 400 WU.
