Good point...Colin where are those new extra special scores and 5k is impossible for me right now unless I get a new mobo/cpu...I might get 4500 if I tweak my system more and fiddle with the settings but i'm really nervous since everything is stock cooling!

WOOOOOOO I hit 4626!!!! I'm gonna buy some epoxy soon (or any alternatives?) and put it on my heatsink which has thermal tape I think
I just figured out that you can turn off certain benchmarks so now it doesnt crash at the stupid dot3 bumpmapping, even though for my highest score so far I accidently left it on once and it made it through
Haha... Well I treat you guys like I treat myself, it's never high enough!

Just trying to encourage you guys to do the best you can geez!

Nice new score though btw!

<< never high enough! >>

I want that under my avatar when I hit 1000 posts

I'm thinking of taking my old hdd soon and installing xp on it for benchmarking, do you think it will increase my score any? I'm thinking of this since my score went down about 50 points when I filled up like 4 gigs of my harddrive (almost nuttin left)
Canadian-Guy you should benchmark with Win2k... Win2k + SP2 is by far the fastest OS for AMD in 3DMark. If I put 2k on my AMD test rig I'm sure I would have broken 21k!

I dont have win2k Only have xp, 98, 95 and me (in order of somewhat stableness)
Oh...

Give Win98 a shot, it's still a very fast OS.

I've been trying hard since to break 4626 and I finally did it, got 4652. But since the radeon le is considered a radeon ddr I had to go through every single project to mine to find out that I have the second highest scoring radeon le benchmarked in 3dmark 2001 Unless I get a new motherboard and overclock my cpu I cant touch his since i'm 125 points behind him, new score in siggie and heres his.
Canadian-Guy I have some good news for you... You're #1. That guy you linked didn't run the default benchmark, his Z-Buffer set to 16 bit not 24 bit!

Sweet! but how come the search filter didnt filter that? does it make that much of a difference?
Canadian-Guy you can't filter that part out...

Congrat's on your awesome score dude, hey how come I don't see a PCStats 3DMark team in your name?!?
