Ti4200 v2 with AGP 8x OC

the new ti4200 comes shipped with 64 megs of DDR memory rated in at 3.6 nanosecond DDR memory, as compared to the older ti4200 wich came with 4.0 nanosecond memory. because of this, most owners were only capable of achieving memory speeds of 575-580 max. with the newer version, you can hit 620 easily, and a 300 core is easy as well. i ran mine with a sytem OC of 33% @ 1.333 ghz, on an old T-Birdie and memory is running in-sync with processor FSB, so both are 133mhz. compared to GNX's, not too shaby. considering he has a proc. speed of 1.8 and mines is 1.333, and im a little older i bet <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> but 8,817 from stock 7,200 is realy good, in my book anyways.<BR><BR><a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6227585">My 3dMarks Compared to GNXtreme's</a>

it just came to me that when u click that link it will show YOUR scores compared to mine, but GNX scores 1000 more if u needed to know, and hes running stock ti4200, older version. as u may c, the new version registes as Ti4200 with AGP 8X, and the old registers as kust Ti4200 with the brand n stuff in front, as usual.

if you wanna know... 8X on a ti4200 is simply just marketing. the hardware on a ti4200 or even 4600 just won't be able to handle that much bandwidth. still .... nice overclocking tho. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

your nice score is more likely boosted by the high quality low latency memory on your card. which also allow you to overclock more out of it compare to other competing cards. ... good buy!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
