Winxp and gta3

do not go well together, tyhe game dont run good on it, and you also get a lot of video errors

GTA3 is one of the buggiest game i've ever encounter. it's not the problem with Xp it's the problem with rockstar. the patch usually fixes a lot of problems. although you might still experience some slow down during some scenes. that's not your system's fault.. it's just the way the game it is.

yeah, i cant get that patch to install. it says i have a newer version

The reason it is like that is because they didnt take their time making it for PC like they did for PS2. Even the PS2 version is buggy, especially Vice City!!! So dont sulk over it, all us gamers are having problems with the game.
