Hey guys, I'm having some trouble accessing internet on my network. It runs fine, except that on the old computer, it can't access some sites, I'll give you some examples. I can't listen to the broadcast of a hockey game from nhl.com, I click on listen, and it just doesn't load up. I also can't get into http://www.thepianist-themovie.com/, after you click on the link, it just won't load. I also can't get microsoft windows update working, as when it says it's starting the download, it won't download. Also, on the new computer (specs on the bottom), my brother tells me that internet has really slowed down. I have also noticed this, and all this only started after I installed my CD RW, could that have anything to do with it?

Hm, I think I may have found the problem. Live Update has also stopped working, so I decided to uninstall Antivirus and reinstall it again. At the end of the installation I get:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program:...COMMON FILESSYMANTEC SHAREDSCRIPT BLOCKINGSBSERV.EXE

abnormal program termination

And then when I try to run liveupdate when installation prompts me to, I get:

Cfgwiz

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

CFGWIZ caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:642042ef.
Registers:
EAX=00002c8f CS=0177 EIP=642042ef EFLGS=00010246
EBX=0067e428 SS=017f ESP=0067e3d0 EBP=0067e40c
ECX=d13d0ed0 DS=017f ESI=00008468 FS=2c97
EDX=00017ce4 ES=017f EDI=00670000 GS=0000
Bytes at CS:EIP:

Stack dump:
bff72317 00000000 00000113 000000ea 0

Got any ideas on what's causing this, and how I can fix it?

Haha, oh no, it's me again (I'm really just tlaking to myself). I got the script problem fixed. I entered the query on symantec's website, and I got my answer. They said that some software installed may change a certain .dll file to something that is newer, but not compatible with older OS's like Win 98 or 95. So I had to go download a pack from MS and replace the .dll file, and now everything works like a charm again, but internet is still slow on the other comp. And for some reason I can't access the ipconfig from it.
