Work Unit Vanished

I had a work unit disappear about two weeks ago, I figured it would show up eventually but alas it is not so.<BR>The unit had 600 frames and was completed, it just wouldn't send. Finally it just disappeared after about 4 hours.<BR>The screen saver showed the correct number of units completed as did the log file but now the screen saver doesn't have a picture in it (about 1 week now). Any help would be appreciated.<BR><BR>Dual p3's overclocked to 882 each.<BR>xp pro, 256 ram

Yes, welcome nnoobb!<BR>Usually happens when you've either rebooted after a fresh install, or your computer took too long to complete one (missed the deadline). I've had several not show up, especially since I've been messing with modding my HP case.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif" border="0"> When I look on the F@H page, it shows you with a big fat 0 in the active processors field. Have you tried closing it and restarting? Do you have the "ask before using Network" box unchecked? What kind of a connection are you on?

Thanks for the welcome guys.<BR>I'm on a cable modem and it doesn't have to ask first.<BR>I think I will have to chock this one up to the folding gods.<BR>Incidentally, it couldn't have taken to long as the computer flew through the unit in question.<BR>I just found it interesting that the log file shows it successfully sent and the correct number of work units completed but the stats page doesn't. It's all for a good cause though. Hopefully we can break into the top 50.<BR>
