Counter-Strike 1.6?

Anyone know where to get Counter-strike 1.6. I don't care if it's beta or whatever. I tried www.steampowered.com, but it's not even fully constructed yet.

You have a point there Polykranopalous, even though i like cs it is a bit dated. Cant wait untl condition zero comes out..brand new graphics engine

That wasn't my question, but it doesn't matter how dated a game is, it's all about the gameplay. CS is just a very well made FPS. All the new games are great, but a lot of them are way too slow, not performance but movement/gameplay, and just don't have the same feel of CS. Also, 1.6 has upgrades to graphics and there are still a lot of bugs in CS that are being worked out.

Battlefield? Medal of Honor? Unreal? after you play those you'll realize that CS is way tooo slow

I actually don't play CS much cuz my connection isn't so great, but I've played MOH and UT2K3. UT kicks ass and MOH is pretty fun, but CS is still worth playing. Do you know where I can get 1.6 or not?

MOH and Battlefield 1942 suck as fighting sims. Both have their high points, such as vehicle controlling, but as ground combat action shooters, they aren't any good. UT[2k3], on the other hand, is quite fun. I personally like UT more but I can't play it on my system because of D3D issues with my mobo. I'll just wait till I get my Gigabyte 800/533mhz FSB board before I play again. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
