A7v8x with XP2700+ currently running at 2.31Ghz 12.5x185/37 Voltage up .05v<BR>should I really only be able to get an extra 20Mhz FSB <BR>Memory 512Mb PC3200 running on lowest bios settings available not touched voltage<BR>Creative Ti4200 64Mbx4 And an old Soundblaster Live card is all thats internally installed<BR><BR>Even if I lower the Multiplier upping FSB stops system booting<BR>Where do I go Next

Is your PC3200 generic? What were the posted timings that came with the RAM (should be listed on a sticker somewhere on the stick)? I am not familiar with that motherboard though. Try raising the latency on the RAM to 2-6-3-3 or so and see if that doesn't help you post with a higher FSB.
I would say your CPU or ram requires more voltage...OR, you your mobo is just maxed out at that fsb already...

Try getting a BIOS update. On my Abit NF7-S rev1.0 mobo, I was stuck at 189 MHz FSB until I got a BIOS update. Afterward, I was able to get rock solid performance at 200 MHz. I also agree with FTO. You should raise your cpu and ram voltage. To get my 200 MHz FSB, I raised my cpu voltage to 1.825 V and ram voltage to 2.7 V.
