These guys are hilarious. It's the funniest when they call and you just let them talk and talk, but you don't say anything. Then they think that you just put the phone down. I did that once, and I haven't had one since then. Maybe it's from my parents telling them to take us off their list or something. Anyone else got a funny story?<BR><BR><BR>(I know this ain't much of a topic, but I had to tell it. I thought it was funny, maybe you didn't.)

One good thing you might do is eat dinner loudly but tell them to hold on because "you are interested in buying a new phone plan" then just hold the phone there and make lots of noise.<BR><BR>Or, speak really softly and when they ask you to speak up tell them that they should turn up their phone or something of the sort because you are speaking as loud as you can. Once you get them to turn it up nice and loud pull out your trusty foghorn and give it a blow.<BR><BR>Or, ask them what they would like to eat and get indignant when they try to tell you they don't want food.<BR><BR>Or, try to sell <i>them</i> a new phone plan.

Whenever I get a call frpm a telemarketer I at first act all excited and intrested in whatever crap they are trying to sell and when they ask for my credit card number I do a 180 on them and start acting like a complete skitso yelling at them asking them how they got my number why they are calling my why they need my credit card number for a free trip and what kind of goverment trick it is.... They never call back, go figure?

I usually just let my 3yr old son answer the phone on calls that don't have caller ID info...he likes to talk...that is some funny sh!t...
