flashed my bios and win wudnt start...

I flashed my bios (epox 8rda+) to a newer version and chnaged setting to old ones (stock mhz's) and each time i tried to load my win 2k pro all i got is that nasty blue screen of death...i formatted and tried to reinstall windows but i still got a weird screen of death so i formatted back to FAT32 and tried to install win98se when that didnt work i decided to format with ntfs again and install windows, it worked but i wasted almos 2.5 hours only on formatting my 80gb hdd :/ did anyone get the same prob? if so have u got a better way to fix it?

Flash back to the old BIOS.

New BIOS is not necessarily better BIOS... I guess the rule of thumb is don't mess with BIOS updates unless the update addresses a problem you are experiencing or gives you a specific functionality you need but can't get otherwise. If things don't work, just go back to the ones that did.

i shud have "stupid" written on my forehdeah, i figured out that i flashed to an older version of bios (damn auto updater) so i manually updated the bios to the newest version and presto, comp runs like magic <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> only problem i got is teh damn heat, its over 35+ here and the cpu is @ 39/43 so ill hafta get some more 120 fans...
