If your computer is freezing on the RAM test, you have probably reached it's limits. You need to clock it back down until you can run the RAM test without sticking.<BR>Yes, that 266 motherboard will be your next bottleneck. Even with PC3200 in there you may not be able to get higher than that 161FSB (that's pretty good for PC2100).
Since my machine stops booting half way through counting the memory at startup, i assume the ram isnt up to it?<BR><BR>Soooo, if i bang in some pc3700 or similar, do you think i can push this puppy beyond its current 2011?<BR><BR>What will be the next barrier? The mobo is 266, so i guess it can only go so far also?
