Help with PristonTale

I got 2.02 installed and I run it. It updates and brings me to login screen but it won't let me select the box to type in my account name and password. What gives?

<BR><BR>I cant answer the question sorry, but a friend came around who also plays,and he wanted to see if he could play his charactor from my pc, and both those fields were accessable and he could play his charactor.<BR><BR>Did u install from the single 387mb file?<BR>Did u register via their website?(not via game setup)<BR>You are online already when u start the game?<BR><BR>I take it you start game,various splash screens and the eagle or whatever is flying and then the login screen appears and thats it?<BR><BR>Try tab keying around maybe, i am sure the frustration would have lead u to do all sorts of combinations to access the fields.<BR><BR>Sometimes they r doing maintenance and the server cant be accessed at all, but left clicking in the login fields works all the time this end.Little flashing cursor moves.<BR><BR>I guess Roy ol' buddy, you may have to go to the website and search faq's or email their helpdesk.<BR><BR><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"><BR><BR>Hey, but it is a great game, i am level 20 (which means zero to u cause u haven't played yet) but its big!<BR>I am addicted, my wife is threatning to kill me. he hheee (nervous laugh)

Daaaamn. I want to play so badly. Yeah, I've tried all the things you mentioned. I tried clicking Login without typing anything and a blank box comes up and then I have to CTRL ALT DELETE it to close it cause there is no close box or anything.

Rats dude.<BR><BR>There are two exe files in the priston tale folder, have you tried them both? " PsTale.exe" is the one i use.<BR><BR>Cant think of any reason it wont run. I run win98se, dont know if that is different to your os. Try turning everything in the background off. ie:- just have systray and explorer running.<BR>That is clutching at straws man, cause i have heaps of background stuff running.<BR>Even my firewall.<BR><BR>The server is down as i type,so i will go have a look at the faq section and see if anyone has posted anything.<BR><BR>

Yeah, I used PsTale.exe. I kinda given up already. Installed it three different times <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

<BR>Thats a bummer dude.<BR><BR>I looked at the faq's and no help at all.<BR><BR>It made mention of directx8, and that the file may have been corupted during download due to phone noise, other than that zero.<BR><BR>If ya can be bothered, d/l the single file again.lol...

<BR>I have run into a whole heap of trouble when i uninstalled and reinstalled the game from the same file,, so i am certain now that the file that comes from the site is subject to damage via the d/l process and that persistance is it.<BR><BR>Try again, it is worthy<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"><BR>

hey Roy the reason why you cant select the box to type in account and password is because you have to turn off anti-alising!!!
